Synth princess, producer, composer, arranger, and performer. Sounds can create universes. I find magical worlds and write and produce electronic music to take you there.
I’ve been a homeless firefighter, professionally wrangled horses and dogs, surfed Costa Rica and the Jersey Shore, joined an ayahuasca cult, taught at a school for geniuses, totaled three cars, rescued a pigeon from a pipe organ, stole a Fender Rhodes, lived on a cruise ship, majored in philosophy, stared into the abyss, and generally menaced society. But no matter where I am or what I’m doing, my life has always revolved around music.
As long as I can remember, I’ve had a radio playing in my head. It has never stopped playing, and there are no tuning dials. It does not play music I’ve heard before. It picks up frequencies from other worlds - worlds full of fairies and aliens, unicorns and monsters, gods and demons, strange landscapes and underwater vistas, other minds and other universes. I want to share these worlds and sounds with you.
I started playing piano as a child, studied jazz and classical music at LaGuardia High School of Music and Art, toured with one of the top Prince cover bands in the world, frequent a hip hop jam session, played pipe organ for the Catholic Church, worked a cruise ship piano bar and cocktail lounge, played an Off Broadway rock opera, composed for film and animation, and generally shredded on anything with keys.
My influences are as varied as Brian Eno, Prince, Koji Kondo, David Byrne, Vangelis, Max Martin, John Williams, Kate Bush, Bob Marley, Aphex Twin, Radiohead, Shostakovich, Chick Corea, Gogol Bordello, Bruce Springsteen, Marina Abromovic, and way too many more.
